Macau casinos are distinct for their peaceful atmosphere. By 2009, Macau Casinos are expected to pull in more than US$5 billion annually - more than Las Vegas. Macau resorts, hotels and casinos are quickly becoming some of the main Macau attractions. Triad involvement in Macau casinos makes a serious social impact on the local area. Gambling being legal in Macau, Casinos offer great entertainment to the connoisseurs. For four decades, the city’s economy has been dominated by Hong Kong tycoon Stanley Ho, octogenarian owner of the Lisboa and 15 other Macau casinos. The first thing many people notice about Macau China is how clean it is. I heard recently that Macau Casinos have overtaken Las Vegas as the gambling capital of the world.

Almost all Macau casinos open 24 hours. Wynn Casino is one of the new casinos in Macau. Macau is already the biggest single gambling market in the world. While most Macau casinos cram as many baccarat and other gaming tables as possible into their available space, Wynn gives his customers room to breathe. What is different between the Macau casinos and Las Vegas casinos is the glitzy atmosphere. Macau’s casinos are geared to Asian gamblers, so most tables are dedicated to baccarat, fan-tan, and Asian dice games. Shiny surfaces, machine jingles, alarm bells, bustling restaurants and high-end fashion boutiques fill the new-Macau casinos. Macau’s casinos offer the largest variety of casino games anywhere in the world, combining both established western favorites with popular eastern games. Macau’s casinos are just 60km west of Hong Kong, and they attract Hong Kong gamblers — who have no casinos at home in droves. Till recently, billionaire Stanley Ho, who runs the Lisboa Casino, has had a monopoly in the relatively autonomous Chinese protectorate.

Macau is the fast expanding Las Vegas of the Far East with massive glitzy casinos and luxury hotels, yet the destination offers more than gambling alone. Historical sites, after all a large portion of the country’s land mass have been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. The contrast between old baroque style Portuguese buildings and the mysticism of Chinese temples is awe inspiring. Add to this melee a modern cosmopolitan city with bustling shopping malls stocked with designer brands and sandy beaches with beautiful people. Macau not only offers the whole package it delivers it as well tourists are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing what to do on their holiday and conversely it appeals to wider section of travelers.

Macau boasts of plenty of good restaurants that offer excellent food ranging from western to oriental. The local cuisine of Macau is also an eclectic mix of Portuguese, native Macanese cooking and traditional Chinese cuisine. A number of up market restaurants can be found throughout the island while wayside eateries are located near popular tourist attractions and market areas. Nightlife and shopping are two very vibrant aspects of the city, recent developments in the tourism sector has made Macau the place to be for entertainment in East Asia. Nightlife can range from traditional Portuguese dancing, live bands, high profile artists and discos depending on where you choose to go. The numerous bars, clubs and casinos provide ample entertainment to tourists. Shopping Macau is all about luxury, large malls and exclusive department stores have a number of luxury goods on offer. The famous Grand Canal Shoppes is a Venice inspired shopping mall that has actual canals, gondolas and reproductions of Venetian landmarks while also offering a wide array of shops.

Macau is a city with two faces: the fortresses, churches and food of former colonial masters Portugal speak to a uniquely Mediterranean style on the China coast. And yet Macau is also the self-styled Las Vegas of the East. The last few years have seen once-sleepy little Macau booming.

Today’s Macau woos commerce and tourism like never before, taking a tradition of gambling to new extremes. While the profileration of mega-casinos means there’s plenty of places to try your hand with Lady Luck, many of Macau’s pleasures are relaxed and laidback, architectural and atmospheric.

In casinos all around the world and even in most online casinos the variation of Live Dealer Baccarat most commonly played is the Punto Banco version. This style of game is played in the United States, Australia, Canada, Sweden and Macau. Unlike the other two variations the Baccarat Chemin de Fer and the Baccarat Banque. In this version the players bet either on the Banker, the Player or the can bet for a Tie. The Player and the Banker are just simple terms used in this game and does not refer to anyone.

Baccarat is very easy to play, you are playing with a standard deck of cards, there are no wild cards or anything different than what the cards say they are. For example, if the cards that are given are a number 2 through a 9 then these cards are accepted at face value. The Aces are worth one point and the 10 cards and the Jack, Queen and King are worth zero points. What happens here is if you are initially given a 6 and 3 then your score is a perfect 9.
